Jobseeker Branding — An Emerging Way to Win Jobs A NarraTricks Community Event Why now. Reputation is what others say about you when you're not in the room. Recruiters search candidates before they shortlist. That search happens whether or not you have prepared for it, and what it returns is your brand, whether you have built it deliberately or accidentally. Most people start building their case for the job the week they need to submit the application. That means starting from 0 instead of 1, with a CV, a cover letter and a hope that someone reads past the second bullet. Gone are the days when people thought jobseeker branding is cold outreach with your CV attached to a LinkedIn DM. Now the trend is to build a public set of evidence a recruiter finds weeks before you apply. It sits upstream of the CV, the application and the interview. Jobseeker branding is the ground those three grow from. What this event is. In this working evening, you will build a personal brand on evidence, so that the recruiter who searches for you finds the person behind the bullet points. We cover the story your CV cannot carry and how to tell it without inflating it. We cover networking online and offline, LinkedIn comment and DM etiquette, and how to keep a visible track record running between job searches so that the next move starts warm. What you get. A hand-held journey from your raw CV, to the skills you need to build, to a custom CV for the roles you actually want. You build it in the room, with Claude, from your own material. You leave with a jobseeker branding strategy and a 180-day playbook covering what to do in week one and what to keep doing for the six months after this evening ends. What to bring.
